They were great commercials. I spent six years as public relations director for Rainier Brewery and you bet, we could have made hay with this story. I've also written two books about Mount Rainier, and have some classic (true) bear stories. At Mount Rainier they relocate troublesome bears about 25 miles away from tourist areas, and invariably the bears make it back to camp by the next morning.
The Hamms beer commercials from years ago were classics too.. I grew up watching the Twinkies and Vikings games and the Hamms bear in all kinds of garb and gimmicks.
