Indeed, it doesn't really matter wha tthe bible says, its how they feel about what the bible says that matters. Authority is found at the closest church, because the opinion of the pastor is the interpretation that fills the church on Sunday. Horsefeathers!

Jesus Christ would be a conservative today. He'd also be a friend of the poor, he'd feed the hungry, clothe the naked, heal the sick, and raise the dead, just like he did when he walked among us as a man. He'd weep at the moral relativism demonstrated by the media, the liberals, and culture of today. He'd weep at where original sin and unrestrained free-will without consequence or responsibility has taken us, and where it is leading. He'd preach and many would come over to his way of life. The way of truth and life. Some others would walk away sad, like the young man in yesterday's Gospel reading. 'I'v kept all these commandments since my youth. Then go and sell all you have and give to the poor and come and folow me. The young man went away sad, for he had many possessions.

May God have mercy on us if John Kerry, in his present form, becomes president. May God have mercy on the liberals and may their eyes be opened to see God's reality.

Thanks...

I hear what you're saying, and concur, but in all honesty, I can't help escape the notion that if John "Christmas in Cambodia" Kerry becomes president, God's focus toward this nation will be judgment, not mercy. (That is to say, Kerry's election will be an indication of God's judgment on this nation.)
