I remeber about 10 or more yrs. ago there were a few accidental shootings involving Police Officers shooting and sometimes killing thier victims. As it turned out, the trigger was a hair-pin trigger often going off by accident while the cop was running in pursuit of the suspect. After these incidents I think they changed the brand of guns.

Grip safety, thumb safety, and on many inertial safety (internal) which prevents firing if the gun is dropped. Mr. Glock's gun is very good. Mr. Browning's is still the best. In my opinion, and that of many others.
