10 to the eleventh sounds low to me, too. From my reading on the human brain, I recall another interesting concept: The conceiveable number of synaptic connections possible within the human brain could rival the number of hydrogen atoms in the universe. True or not, scientists seem to agree that the human brain is the most complex organism existant. Place that into a human frame, and... Any one been watching the Olympic diving and gymnastic competition? Ain't evolution grand?
