Gentlemen, as much as this a great academic discussion, the wife and I will be voulenteering at the Convention and to be honest, I am nervous for her. I can take care of myself, but any suggestions?

Don't get too near them and don't provoke them with Bush signs, hats, shirts, etc. Stay neutral-looking until you are on protected ground.

I believe in free speech, but the cops can't protect every lone Republican at once--they can only arrest people after they break the law.
