Gloria was the one I experienced too. Do you live in Mass? Granted, Gloria was nothing like this one, but the eye was still eerie.

I remember that. During the eye, we were all out walking around. A man a few blocks from me was killed - when the winds started up again, a tree branch fell on him.

Same for me, but we were about 15 miles inland in CT. The eye is pretty creepy.
