I just switched the TV to catch weather on a Norfolk station and it looks like Severa is getting the north eyewall right about now - so at 30 miles an hour I've got about 2 hours +/- for it to get here.
It's still raining, but it is still deadly calm. Hubby commented earlier we will know when it gets close because we will have to close the front door the living room and bedroom windows - as they all face south.
Ugh - no fun when the storm comes through in the dark of the night. Hope it flies by.
*has never been through one of these* Ok it just got DEAD calm within the past oh ten minutes or so. There was a brief but hard downpour, just as it went calm the power flickered off for a few seconds but came right back up.
