150.....???
150!!!!!!
This has got to be the most loss of life from a storm in decades....going back to perhaps before Donna.
IIRC, Donna only cost 50 lives or so.

Ten confirmed dead in Charlotte County
Ten people are confirmed dead in Charlotte County, and five other storm-related deaths have been reported in other parts of Florida.
Wayne Sallade, Charlotte County's director of emergency management, says hundreds of people are still unaccounted for. He says it may take days to get a final death toll.
Sallade says two or three of Charlotte County's dead were people who had been told before Charley struck to evacuate their mobile home subdivision in Punta Gorda, but they refused.
Police say they're having trouble even getting rescue teams into some mobile home parks because of debris blocking roads.

150!!!!!!
That is a drop in the bucket (no pun intended about abortion).
We only kill 1.3 million babies a year through abortion. That is about 1500 babies for the 12 hours that Charley went from Port Charlotte out into the Atlantic off Daytona Beach.
If you complain about the loss of human life, and do nothing about abortion, you are a hypocrite.
Even the very liberal magazine Time had as a cover story Life in the womb. They did not say Tissue in the womb -- the article clearly said life in the womb.
The most dangerous place in the United States for Human Life is inside the womb of a woman, where life is supposed to be safe and protected.
Sorry, but innocent life is one thing. Some people, who may have had the means to evacuate, did not, and were killed by this tragic storm.
There is no choice for the Unborn in the womb.
If you contest my point, just watch Silent Scream. It was made by abortionist, who converted, who did 80,000 abortions.
The abortionist who edited Silent Scream had done many, many abortions, but he was made physically sick by the film (he threw up in other words).
