"I just got off the phone with my parents in Naples."
I haven't heard from my sister-in-law for about an hour. Last I heard, they were heading inland to stay with some friends. Still in the path of the storm, but away from their house right on one of the canals in Cape Coral.
I hope they call, if they can. I expect cellular communications to go down once the winds arrive.
I've got my fingers crossed.
I hope they are ok. Cape Coral looks to be near the projected landfall. The eye has moved even with Naples already. I don't know why my parents are so hard headed - just moving a few miles in land makes a big difference.
