No, no. Check a map, or use mapquest.com to call up the little town of Bradeton.

The third post of this thread shows the radar picture of the eye, with county lines superimposed on the radar.

Now, compare the two images in two different windows at the same time.

Bradenton is right on the caost, a little south of St Pete.

The eye is about 45 miles east of there, right north of the Polk County line right now coming up on the town of Fort Meade.

They'll get winds, rain, (and maybe a tornado giving localized damage) but the real problems are well inland from that town.

thank you, sir, for that information about Bradenton. I DO have a Mapquest map, but it doesn't begin to show all I need to know. You've helped a lot.
