Now, compare the two images in two different windows at the same time.
Bradenton is right on the caost, a little south of St Pete.
The eye is about 45 miles east of there, right north of the Polk County line right now coming up on the town of Fort Meade.
They'll get winds, rain, (and maybe a tornado giving localized damage) but the real problems are well inland from that town.
Pres Bush has declared a major disaster, freeing FEMA funds for debris removal and other relief.
