Nope, not hype. It's already at 145+; Cat 5 is only at 154...

145 MPH ground winds so it's close. Hard to tell what it'll do at landfall, but it has a real tight eye yet.

The biggest problem looks to be massive storm surge up Charlotte Harbor...
