We are in Marco Island, Florida. The storm is now due west of us around 40 miles out. We just lost power here, but so far it has not gotten too bad. Just passed high tide, but the surge is yet to come. please continue with position reports. not sure how long these laptop batteries will last, but i will try to stick around and give reports of what is going on.
Right now we have light to moderate rain. Winds are gusting fairly well and sending cocnuts and palm fronds flying.
