I'm in St. Pete...we're getting nothing.
A little light rain, a mild wind occasionally, that's it.
Our afternoon thunderstorms are much worse, LOL.

and you are right.....with it emerging over water it will be worse than if it hadnt.
luckily the upper levels wont be conducive to much strengthening...the storm will be getting "ripped apart" from south to north soon due to the upper level trough sweeping it up.
