No problem. Just don't let it happen again :o)
BTW, the Brian Wilson interview was apparently supposed to be aired on Larry King around the August 1st, but it was put off. Then it was supposed to be on tonight, but it was put off again because of the Florida Hurricane story.

I have it - Got Dennis to autograph it at an appearance at the Harvard Coop when it came out.
Good album but the deterioration of Dennis' voice was sad to see - in some ways it was worse than Brian's.

They were the only band to record songs written by Charles Manson ('Be With Me' on the 20/20 album was credited to Dennis but was actually Manson song titled 'Cease to Exist').

You know, there's a beautiful song on a late 1970's Beach Boys album. Maybe it was the L.A. (Light Album), it's called Baby Blue. Part of it is sung by Dennis. The song is achingly beautiful, and might have been a huge hit if released as a single. Not a "Beach Boys" song at all. Dennis's voice is already ruined from drink, and that just adds to its sad beauty. I find it hard to listen to.

I'm looking forward to hearing "Ghost" for the first time. Is it leaning more toward "Summerteeth" or "Being There," or is it totally different? I saw them on Letterman about a month or so ago, and they sounded good live, and the song was very Beatlesque, so I'm sure I'll like it.

'Baby Blue' is one my favorites. The laternaitng of Carl's pure and Dennis' ravaged voice is something to hear.
I always thought that Dennis and Carl should have done something together at that time. They seemed to compliment each other. Dennis was certainly a better songwriter than Carl but Carl was a better singer (one of the best pop music voices ever) and more disciplined.

25 years? Nothing since 1979? You must not be looking very hard.
Make a deal with you. Tell me what you like - genres, artists, etc. And I'll tell you the name of at least 2-3 records you will love. And if you don't, I'll pay for 'em.
