Yep. Bob risks his time and money to serve the community and the compassionate ones step all over him. Oh well, I guess Bob just couldn't deliver enough votes, just as the NYC restaurant owners couldn't deliver enough for Mayor Bloomberg. It's just too bad for Bob (and Joe) that the Bill of Rights is not so popular at the moment.

How right you are.

I don't know much about the NY Restaurant Associations, except that at least one of them has folded on this issue and will not continue to fight it.

The Restaurant Association in Delaware fought that ban tooth and nail - until the legislature amended the ban to include bars and the race tracks.........then they supported it totally. Of course the majority of the small minority of restaurants in DE that belong to the Association are the major chains probably haad nothing to do with that, now did it?
