I saw his reply to the tax reform question as a reply that will *allow* him to endorse it at the planned time (the week before the convention, or the week of).
He *refused* to say he would *not* endorse the change, when Larry asked. Instead he again switched the topic to reassuring the public he is not a tax-raiser.
Stay tuned for scrapping the IRS to be the main plank. Bush and Rove have planned this since before he was elected President, and all the data is there to support this, if you pay attention.
It was hinted at during the first tax cuts. The White House commissioned a study on the issue, and even published a report.
This will be the main campaign issue, and everything that has happened this week is consistent with it. And with delaying the announcement until the planned upon time.
OK. I'll let you claim credit for predicting it. I'll take blame if I'm wrong by saying Bush wants nothing to do with it.
