Didn't Michael Gross play a nauseating liberal for many seasons of Family Ties? If he is really conservative, that must have made his characterization a delight for him!

YOu are correct. I'm thinking about the album cover with the black snake on the cover.

John Rhys-Davies, who played Gimli the dwarf in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, said recently, "You introduce a Republican to another in Hollywood, it's like a meeting between two Christians in Caligula's Rome."

LOL, that's great!

Bob Burns, I forgot all about him, he couldn't handle the touring schedule (rumor). It's been a long time since I've listened to Skynyrd, they were the band of my youth. How many piss-poor versions of "Freebird" came through garage doors and from basements back in the day?

Rick Rubin, Vincent Gallo, and Johnny Ramone. Not sure about Rubin, but Gallo and ramone are hard core republicans.

Among the finds was ditzy conservative Jessica Simpson, who's become a frequent White House visitor. Upon being introduced in March to Gale Norton, secretary of the interior, Simpson gushed, "I love what you've done to the place."

I thought she was joking, kind of clever I thought. Seems to me Jessica Simpson plays on ditzy more than she actually is. At least I hope so. :)

Who is the actor who has been working with U. S. soldiers in Iraq to provide materials for school children? He's done a lot to bring attention to all the good that America is doing in Iraq.

You are talking about Gary Sinise.

James Earl Jones (a former Army officer and NRA member) is probably a Republican backer...anyone know definitively? His words on the war in Iraq:

"All people have to be prepared," Jones said. "If we are going to be the police, we also have to be the guardians. We can no longer play games. I was not against the war in Bosnia. I was against it taking so long. I was not against the war in Somalia. Again, it took too long, and we didn't finish the job. We should've stayed and finished the job. About this pending war, I just think we should've finished that war the first time."

Very cool, I remember him as far back as My Bodyguard. I just spent ten minutes or so checking the message board out - he's quite a well-spoken guy. The fact that he posts as himself and spends so much time doing so refuting Kerry and supporting Bush is a pleasant surprise.

LG, check out the link in post 57.

Nick Lachey was also stuck at Newark Airport during 9/11, watched the whole thing from the terminal across the river as it happened. No doubt solidified his views a bit.
