The suspension was well justified. No employee has the right to use his employer's public address system to make political comments to customers.

I've had two experiences with this kind of stuff in the last 5 months... first was at a conference, when a school psychologist made an off handed comment about somebody "not being as dumb as Bush". The second was on a tour bus when the guide made a similar quip about the President.... seems that I was in a fairly benign mood. I just looked at my wife and said.... "typical....... typical liberal a-hole." Dirty look, kick to the lower leg.... life is funny. It's just a good policy to keep religion and politics to yourself unless you're sure of those around you.
