The First Amendment does NOT give you the right to use a platform paid for by your EMPLOYER to preach your political views. This is just as silly as the libs who shouted "censorship!" and "First Amendment!" when some theaters chose not to shor Moore's film. You have a right to political speech... you don't have a right to have other people pay for it. You're right.

It's no wonder after the Kerry people denigrated conductors. At least this conductor would stop the train in Lawrence, KS.

That's why I don't work for lib-dem scum in NYC's advertising industry, anymore, and have my own nursery-garden center business in Penna, nowadays. I can say what I want about liberalism being a severe mental disease.
You'd be surprised at the annoying, nit-picking, lib-dem garbage I've rid myself of, just by wearing my Kimber 'Target Eclipse II' 1911A1 .45cal ACP, openly at my business, although I have a CCW and carry daily.
My employees are free to express their political views, if they choose. Most are GOPers or Conservatives; the lib-dem filth wouldn't work long in the horticulture industry, willingly. It's long, tough work and alien to liberal-demokkkRAT 'girlie-men-boys'.

It is a mental disease, but thankfully, not listed as one officially, cuz ya just know they'd seek special employment disability accommodation provisions. ;o)

The suspension was well justified. No employee has the right to use his employer's public address system to make political comments to customers. I've had two experiences with this kind of stuff in the last 5 months... first was at a conference, when a school psychologist made an off handed comment about somebody "not being as dumb as Bush". The second was on a tour bus when the guide made a similar quip about the President.... seems that I was in a fairly benign mood. I just looked at my wife and said.... "typical....... typical liberal a-hole." Dirty look, kick to the lower leg.... life is funny. It's just a good policy to keep religion and politics to yourself unless you're sure of those around you.

One defense he's using is that there were Kerry banners all over Amtrack property and equipment. He may have a point considering that it's not a private company.
