Pathetic piece really. Obama's father abandoned the family when the guy was two years old, and had no influence on raising him. His step father was a non practicing non believing Muslim. Obama was in fact raised for the much of his childhood by his white grandparents in Hawaii I think. Obama said his grandfather was a goat herder, not his father, albeit he did not say he was a prosperous one. But then Edwards said his father was a mill worker, when for most of his career he was a white collar manager in the factory. Gephardt was his father was a milk man, when I think the fact of the matter is that his father sold real estate for most of his career, and was comfortably middle class, although I could be wrong. Obama is a practicing Christian.
