The only honest response is NO. Doubtless, the American military would have given Kerry back those four months if it meant the nation would've been spared Kerry's treasonous VVAW days.
Plus the Dem said than when Kerry graduated from Yale he could have done anything, like law school. Wrong. In those days if you wanted to be President, a military service background was a must. Kerry desperately wanted to be President someday, and let everyone know it at the time. Clinton was the first exception to the "rule".
