The details about how Kerry secured his medals per fraudulent writeups or pulling of strings or whatever deserves a quite proactive investigation. Admiral Leyman's (sp)name I think came up somewhere. Maybe someone can ask him about it while he is on his dog and pony show tour.

Man, this guy lives in a fantasy land.
He's a Great American. The pic is just a discussion that OC and I were having about he seems to be an ice cream salesman sometime. I think Sean is great. I listen 3 hours a day (that's all he asks) and watch every night.
What they didn't count on was the depth of the animosity held toward Mr Kerry by vets in gneral, Vietnam Vets in particular and especially the men he served with.
My opinion, a fatal miscalculation. The story has legs. Even members of the media, left and right, who heretofore had scoffed at questioning his record in Vietnam now admit that Kerry has opened the door, as you guys are wont to say, and scrutiny is called for.
His stupid Clintonian (lying when there is no need to) Dreaming of a Khmer Rouge Christmas story will negate the benefit of the doubt the undecideds would have given him.
JMHO of course.

Let's see them say Bill Gertz is printing that for political gain.
Lehman has nothing to do with it. He wasn't SECNAV when Kerry was awarded the SS or BS. 11 years post, he asked Lehman to write the blurb. Lehman is a strawman writ large.
Okay, then you got it!
Excellent.
To Kerry,
You can run but you can't hide them. It's called cache!!!
Opinions vary.
Kerry has put out a photo with all the Swift Boat Officers. That was what originally got them so incensed.
They were the officers in his unit.
If they "didn't know him" why does he have a photo of them?
Also, if you've got to be on his boat to know him, why was his unit commander allowed to write his efficiency report? He wasn't on the Kerry's boat.
Like Pat said, the Vietnamese, Cambodians or Khmer Rouge didn't hold up flags identifying themselves so how would Kerry know who was shooting?
Lehman was writing the blurb about what? Or are you saying, Lehman was just writing up a speech to award the medal based on what the documents he was shown said?
And yes, the only Christmas he spent there, since he was after all, there for only 4 months.
I just ordered my copy from Amazon.com as well as early ordered The Passion of The Christ. Also, I received free shipping!
Tonk, is it true that this story is not in Brinkley's book?
Have you see this?
