PARKS TRUCK TRIGGERS RADIATION DETECTOR

NEW YORK -- A New York City Parks Department truck triggered some kind of radiation detector while in Brooklyn Wednesday, NewsChannel 4 has learned.
The truck eventually was stopped at 50th Street and 1st Avenue in Brooklyn. The area was cordoned off and hazmat units were investigating the source of the low level radiation, police said.
