I'm sure they're telling the truth. We can trust the Iranians when they say the nuclear reactor won't go live until 2006 due to some "delays". I'm thinking the delay has something to do with taking enriched uranium at another location and building a warhead.

I think they want the reactor "hot" before anyone expects it to be. They want the Israelis to think they have more time so they will delay destroying the reactor.
Israel has already shown they are reluctant to bomb a live reactor, and thereby spread horrific amounts of radioactive debris.
The ayatollahs figure that if they can get it cooking before it's attacked, it won't be.
