We're stocked with plenty of food and water ... but not for boarding up windows. I may have to get my father-in-law (who's a general contractor) to give me a hand in that department.

It looks like Charlie could be a biggy for someone in the Gulf... I'd watch it for the next day or two before making major plans. There are indications that it may try to slip under the East Coast trough and continue west. That said, Florida is the likely target as of now.
