It is very easy for someone who does not speak English to rent a truck. Have you been in NYC lately? English is not the first language for most truck drivers. When stopped by the police the 'stress' can cause them to forget any English they ever knew. Any freepers out there in the rental car/truck business? Your input would be welcomed.

I was in NYC about three months ago...and while I know that the English is not the first language for the taxi drivers. I am surprised that other than local NY deliveries; a company would be able to use truck drivers who are delivering out of state who don't speak English. Considering the overhead for the truck, insurance and the value of the goods being delivered; a non-English speaking truck driver would be a big liability.
