The only reasonable extrapolation that I can come up with is that they have nuclear weapons and are chomping at the bit to deploy them against Israel, as soon as possible.

Does Israel have the capabilities to identify, intercept and knockdown an incoming missle? If they do, wouldnt the in-air nuke detonation & debris fall over another muslim country? Israel would be blamed for the incident, giving the other countries an excuse to attack them.
This Iran situation is getting complicated...
