Israel suspects Palestinians smuggling missiles from Egypt, wants to widen 'buffer zone'

Israel must widen the "buffer zone" between the Gaza Strip and Egypt to prevent Palestinians from digging tunnels for arms smuggling, the commander of Israel's Southern Brigade said during a tour of the battle-torn border. The move would require the demolition of thousands more Palestinian homes.

Iran says missiles can hit anywhere in Israel
