It will not go back to cat 4, probably not even to 3. It's moving very fast now and will continue to do so as it rides up the frontal/trough system situated along the East Coast.

It may get back up around 100-120mph before hitting land again. The windspeeds will be less, but the damage could still be great. When storms fly up the East Coast, they tend to pack quite a punch.

It's gonna get a bump from up north and do a loop-d-loop back into the carolinas. lot's of stuff out there to get reorganized. IMHneO

Thanks for the feedback. Will hope that things just calm down. I've been through a few hurricanes. Two in N.C., one in New Orleans (years ago). No fun.
