What indications? NOAA is not responding very well. The Tampa doppler must be overloaded. I'm getting response from NOAA, but the radar is broken.

Well, it's only 10 mph shy and the eye wall has gotten better defined over the past hour as it heads towards the shore. I am just guessing that it continues to strengthen based on past experience.

Most weather sites are down or having major trouble right now. I think all of America finally woke up to this one in the past 2 hours...

I was just thinking, since I can't get any radar from the affected areas, that if a catastrophe other then a hurricane occurred in any major US city(ies), it will be close to impossible for us to communicate via FR.
