Why? Keyes is only well known to political junkies. Most people don't even know who he is. It would be tough for Reagan himself to beat Obama with this headstart. At least Keyes states the conservative view with passion. I think he'll win some folks to our side even in a big loss.

The logic escapes me. How will he win converts by being trounced? That implies he had a base and could go no higher as opposed to 'winning' others to our side. I think he will probably lose ground & support because of his 'situational ethics' in his own 'carpetbagger' quotes.
He seems to be only in it for the 'ride' & power. Just wait until the voters find out that 'MR ETHICS' owes back taxes & is a 2 time loser already in trying to become a Senator.
