Keyes needs to start accepting some of these press requests for interviews.

Looks like Keyes is on track to getting his usual 29% of the vote.

The Republicans would have been better off letting Obama win unopposed than letting him use this crackpot as a foil.

Keyes will get more PR for this than for all the other times he ran for president, etc., put together. Mainly because the Secret Masters asked him to run this time.

Looks like another media poll template from the 2003 Calif. recall.

Remember Bustamante was leading in double digits. Also Arnold got into the race two maonths before the election, Keyes closer to three months.

Also, IMO, KQQL's, input is useless since fatalism seems to be his personality trait.

If Keyes gets to 40% I'll be surprised. This might be his best #'s.

that's 28% more than 0%, which is where the GOP was when they didn't have a candidate.

Not to pee in anybody's cornflakes, but Keyes will have a hard time reaching even 28%. By November, I predict 23%.

He's a fine man and all that, but his candidacy is a farce dreamed up by the biggest group of morons who ever walked upright -- the Illinois GOP leadership.

While Keyes won't win (as there is no way to counter all the votes Boss Daley will dig up in Chicago's "special districts") I doubt that it will be this bad. Remember this is a SEE-BS poll. More likely it will be 60-40 when all is said and done.

Well, I think this is quite positive. The people of Chicago will get to see a black Republican in the flesh. That alone is worth Keyes getting into the race.

He's running this to be a talker. To state the conservative case as he does eloquently. His presence on the ticket will bring some additional conservatives to the polls that might have otherwise stayed home. His presence may have some effect on the Roman Catholic vote and certainly getting pro-life people to the polls. He may even attract some black voters who would like to spend their vote on a different kind of black politician to send a message.

Gotta start somewhere, I guess. I'm skeptical about Keyes, but two days after he announces, before he gets to make any appearances or do any campaigning, it's definitely way too early to judge.

That's not even the Bad News. This poll was taken of just the dead voters in Chicago.

This poll is more worthless than used toilet paper. Keyes just said yes yesterday.

Actually, it will be very difficult for Keyes to beat O(s)bama at this late date given the overwhelming positive input from the socialist press and the commie rat party at the "Carrie" coronation.

However, I believe that Keyes is more than able to put Osama in his place and expose him for the twit that he is. Win or lose the election, there will be no "draw" when it comes to the debate and the issues. Nothing more than an empty suit espousing socialism in its dying throes.

Blessings, Bobo
