If I went on vacation to the US, would they let me use a firearm on a gun range? You come to Houston and we will fix you up with everything short of a LAW (which can be arranged with some notice). ;-)
Most big ranges will let you rent a gun, or use one if you buy the ammo there and they're in a good mood.
