The Republican Party, national level, has yet to get a clue. Same for the Republican Party in Ohio, and the Republican Party in Franklin County.

In Upper Arlington, Ohio, the Kerry signs on the front lawns, outnumber Bush signs by 20 to 1.

As with the 1996 and 1998 and 2000 elections, there is no money for grass roots use.

Instead, the "higher-ups" are spending the bulk of the money on "high end" video bites.

Thank you for doing more than the lot of them.

The gop has left it's grass roots base to twist in the wind.

The Ohio leadership's policies toward tax increases would bring a tear to the eye of teddy keg.

The party is actively attacking a popular conservative (Blackwell) even though he's one of their own.

In Cowlumbus the gop couldn't even field a candidate to run against a very liberal democrat mayor.

Ohio is a "battleground state" and the race here is "too close to call".

The republican leadership has taken the support of their core for granted, and governed like democrats would like to.

It's going to get worse here before it gets better.

down here on campus there are an excessive # of sKerry signs and "No Iraq War" signs. I would put out my B/C'04 sign in a heartbeat if i didnt think a brick would be put through my window. its bad enough worrying about my car having B/C stickers on it.

up in clintonville there is a street just north of w. broadway (there is a 5/3 and wendy's on the corner, i cant remember the name) but if you get the chance, go east to indianola on it...every other house has a sign in the front yard, pretty much alternating between the two parties, until you get to this house that has a HUGE banner about supporting "real leaders" B/C and supporting our troops. i just wanted to knock on their door and thank them for having the cajones to put that up! check it out!

Honestly, in Florida, lots of people are scared to even put out a sign or put a bumper sticker on their cars. The f'in RATS, even in rural Florida where Bush is king, scrape cars and donut lawns.

If the police were remotely conservative they'd plaster Bush stickers on cars and lurk in mall lots waiting for the little shits, and get them on civil rights violations instead of minor vandalism charges. I'm sick of seeing their goonish behavior go unpunished.

I went down to Bush HQ in the brewery district to complain. They told me they were not allowed to mass produce yard signs until after the convention. If you can't find a number for HQ in the phone book, I can freepmail it to you if you want to volunteer.
