Nor, do I, (or President Bush, fot hat matter) have a problem with using someone like McCain in fundraising, so long as we are bringing to our RIGHT cause rather than be brought over to their LEFT cause. Actually, that's not the point of using McCain.
There aren't enough people on the RIGHT in most places (and Illinois seems to be one of those) to win an election. To win, some people in the middle need to be brought on board - those are the people McCain appeals to, and that's why he would be used, if he agrees.

Good morning..... What an interesting day we have going... School starting soon for you I guess? Sort of nice and cool with low humidity for this time of year in our area.... I should be out cranking out a few miles on the bike since it's so nice.
Most probably won't agree with me but I think we all sort of fall in the 'you can be bought' class. Politicans are humans and as such have human failings..... One of which, imo, is most all of us have a price for which we'll do things. You, I and everyone else. When the price/offer/glory/recognition/ego satisfaction level reaches any of our acceptance thresholds we will buy into it most of the time. So often we will say things then rationlize the reverse at some point and people wonder why?
