. if truth wins they why is bush at 50% or so and not at 80%

The Republican Convention hasn't started yet. That'll show the whole picture, rather than bits and bites between candidates and talking heads on TV.
Also, the Vets book isn't out yet. All people have seen are the commercials, and many are shown in small segments.
Be patient. It takes time for the cream to reach the top.
Good things come to those who can wait.

Wasn't May 4, 2004, the day that these Swift Vets had their press conference???

yesterday a FReeper posted that a pro-Kerry group had taken a domain name in may like swiftboatvets.com, rather similar to the domain of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth's site .. close enough that people would go there rather than the legitimate site. LIke the notorious whitehouse.com site (which is porno).

SwiftVets.org has a single page saying "Swiftly Vet the Slander" with the Presidential Seal on it. When you put your mouse over the seal, the legend reads, "John Kerry for President."

your support for the swifties is so appreciated, Im sure

Favor to ask...
The guys are becoming very busy with interviews, especially radio. If anyone comes across any transcripts would you either save them, or post them on our forum. I've set up a thread just for transcripts.

I lifted one off one of the threads here the other day , hope no one minds?

I have heard this before. The Kerry supporters are beside themselves that Vietnam Vets do not support Kerry, and are in-fact opposing him. Their little pea brains thought that America was going to "ooooooo" and 'awawawawawa" over Kerry's 4 months in-country.

%%%%%%
You are so right. Since image and 'intentions' not actions and results are motivators for lefties, they thought they had a winnah with Kerry the war hero. It is a mark of their true contempt for anything military that they could not foresee the sentiments of Millions of veterans across our country.

I listened to many hours of talk radio yesterday where this was the major topic. Many veterans were irate. Only a few "regular" lefties called to oppose the Swift Vets.

Yes. It was May 4. So now we know that not only National Review and Newsmax reported on the event but Salon did as well - in their own way!

The video is available on the Swiftvets site and on the CSPAN sitel

Swift Boat Veterans for Truth Press Conference on Sen. John Kerry (D-MA)
At the National Press Club in Washington, The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth hold a press conference to discuss Sen. John Kerry's character and candidacy for the presidency.
5/4/2004: WASHINGTON, DC: 1 hr. 20 min.

The thing that I find interesting about this Swift Boat thing is that it takes attention away from Kerry's awful attendance and voting record. If the spotlight continues to shine on his service controversy, the press could try to generate some sympathy for him, the way it portrayed Hillary Clinton as the poor little connubial victim during the Lewinsky scandal.

Let's not forget to emphasize Kerry's awful voting record and how that makes him unfit to be president in addition to the Swift Boat controversy.

<< .... amazing that Kerry would even bring Vietnam up seeing how he disgraced America with his treasonous actions in the early 70's. >>

Why stop there?

Kerry's treasonous and subvertive actions certainly did not and to this day his treason continues unabated!

The evil bastard.

The majority of Americans have no idea what the truth is regarding President Bush. The suppression of honest reporting about him rivals news coverage of truth in the old Soviet Union.

I have a friend who has been having a little contest with the NYTimes. He said he would buy the paper when he saw a positive story about Bush on the front page. In three years he came close last week when they had a nice photo, but still no story. He has not bought one copy of the NYTimes yet.

Our local rag in Baltimore has a vicious editorial cartoon of Bush about 4x per week. The other 3 days are vicious cartoons against our Governor (R).

With this kind of blackout and smear, it is hard for many people to trust their instincts that Bush IS doing a good job.

Hotmail's AUP (authorized use policy) prohibits hotmail.com email addresses from being used for business purposes. And they enforce that prohibition. A short email to abuse@hotmail.com, providing a link to and quoting that registration information, should be enough to get the email address nuked.

ICANN rules require that the information on file, for a 'whois,' be accurate. If that hotmail address does't associate with a person, then the domain is supposed to e removed from DNS (doman name servers).

Something of his sort happened to FR earlier this year. FR was removed from DNS because of a trivial administrative error.

sending out threatening emails to these members

Call your local law enforcement. This is a crime. (P.S. I once received an email threatening a b**b at a GWB demonstration. The Sheriff took it real serious.)

to say that a combat officer would make a good public affairs officer is no praise at all

To say that a combat officer would make a good PAO is to damn him about as loudly as one can.
