Is Interstate BBQ still open?

So far as I know, yes, but it's not one of the places I frequent. We actually live in the eastern part of Shelby County (completely surrounded by Memphis) in a town called Germantown. We either go to Corky's or the "local" BBQ place, the Germantown Commisary. Good BBQ. Great deviled eggs! Zero parking.

We lived out East and I worked at Methodist Central. I would go out of my way to pick up over at Interstate we never ate in there or at the Commissary. Take out is divine with four boys at home to feed. Wednesday was Corky's day at the hospital and was available for lunch. Ahhh those were the days. Yes we have received Fed Ex BBQ for Christmas from family. It's worth it!
