Eleanor (Eldie) Acheson, is a member of GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered) and currently a campaign adviser and liaison for presidential candidate John Kerry to the gay community. Eldie was one of Hillary Rodham's roommates at Wellesley College and named Assistant Attorney General for Policy Development, in charge of choosing Federal judicial nominations by President Clinton.
