He's spending the show (again) on getting the swiftboat vets story out there. His guest will be, for the second time, the machine gunner who served with John Kerry on his boat. Steve Gardner, I believe is his name.
Also, Savage is expressing his disappointment with Fox News, specifically O'Reilly, for spiking this story and essentially calling the veterans liars. Savage says it's because O'Reilly wants to get John Kerry on his show.
Won't happen. Hannity has been help the Swift Boat Vets as much as he can.

By the way this Kerry dude (Baer) said that NO ONE from Kerry's BOAT has made these charges and then went ONE BETTER and said NOT EVEN ANYONE from his DIVISION has made any of these charges.

Just heard a little as I was driving home. Savage had just asked the Swiftboat vet if he knew that Bush was attacking the ad and what did he think about that. I didn't hear the answer because I got so mad I turned off the radio.

They said they have nothing to do with it.
Yes, they did say that some 527s are pushing too hard.
But they never attacked the Swift Boat Ad.
As the vet on Savages show said ...and will probably say again at 9pm central when Savage has him back on... They did not want Bush in this ad issue to begin with . They are not playing politics. For the primary issue. They are setting the record straight..that they were not baby murderers like Kerry claimed before the Congress. And that starts by discrediting Kerry for what he really was.
It shows a pattern.
