What is stopping this story from seeping into the consciousness of the "swing" voter?
It seems there are actually very few swing voters. People have generally made up their minds - there are those who support either Bush or Anybody but Kerry, those who support Hanoi John or Anybody but Bush, and the “swing” - those who believe neither is worth voting for and don’t really care who is elected.
Hopefully some of the Anybody but Bush people can be convinced that he really is the lesser of two evils.
I'm pinning my hopes on that group of people who go into the voting booths election day-who have been exposed to the unceasing barrage of "HATE BUSH" propaganda for the past four years-and whose ultimate decision hinges on one final question.
"Can they trust John Kerry with their-and their family's-lives for the ensuing four years?"
I don't want to make it sound too simplistic, but I think that a question like that will be the determining factor in who ends up the victor in this race.
Hopefully, we'll be able to pull this one out!
I know that I'm praying for something to happen between now and Election Day that will finish off John Kerry's aspirations for higher office.
