You got the Edwards angle right! US Navy Dr. Letson was the attending physician when Kerry arrived for treatment of a wound that Dr. Letson described as a scratch. This is obviously grounds for a malpractice suit since Kerry was awarded the PH for the scratch. It was a combat scratch. Litigation festering.
