I think you're correct, but it's also good to follow the 9/11 Commission's recommendation and have some people around that know how to think like the enemy. You should always try to think about what the worst thing a terrorist/democrat might try to do.

If the race remains tight, Kerry's in it until the end. If the Swift Boat thing or something else blows up and knocks him into the 20's or low 30's in the rats internal polling, Kerry will be hanging out with Quincy Carter.
