OK, so what about the claim on the fax that says none of the guys saying those nasty things about Kerry even served on either of the two boats (PCF 44 & whatever) he was on? That's a good question. How does one explain that?
THEY NEVER CLAIMED TO BE ON THE SAME BOAT. These are all officers and as such were serving on different boats.
And just to be clear, these were NOT large boats, and multiple boats worked together. It was not necessary to be ON Kerry's boat to be working WITH Kerry in battle.
It's easy - Think of the boat and it's crew as a squad, and several of the boats make up a platoon. You operate alone, and with the otehr squads. Did the guys in the other squads still serve with you? Able to see how you operated, led, commanded, etc...? I'd think that would be yes.
Just because they were not on the same 6-man boat doesn't mean they didn't interact on missions, and live, and serve with John Kerry.
94.
For the record, one person who was on his boat opposes him and is a member of swiftvets, so the Kerry campaign is stretching the truth.
They are right that these guys did not, but these boats, even in the admission of Ron Fournier today, served very close together. People saw and got to know people on other boats.
I did not mean to allude that Travis McGee was a troll...but that the original post was by a troll!!! Sorry Travis!!!! ;)
They served together. Swift boats...think of tanks. Tanks operate together. They perform missions together. They serve together, you do not have to be on the same tank to know the other tank crew or to witness the behavior of that crew. The ad does not say they served on the same boat with Kerry. It says they served with kerry.
who cares which boat they were in/on.....KERRY USED THEIR PICTURES WITHOUT PERMISSION....THEREFORE THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL THEIR SIDE!!!!! they are to stupid to realize this.
Easily, one SwiftVet was Kerry's gunner (twin 50s up top) and the others were on boats yards from Kerry's on the same mission at the same time.
