They have the 'courage' because they know they can prevent him from winning. The question is whether Keyes will be willing to go through the expense of moving so that he can run a losing campaign. The campaign would be very good for Illinois, but I would hope that if Keyes decides to run he recognizes that he will be stabbed in the back.
