I know a LOT of Catholic blacks, who live in Chicago.I also know some who are Protestant. They won't vote for Keyes,no matter WHAT Obama's stand on abortion is.

Why would Keyes turn off whites? For many reasons;not the least because of the carpetbagger thing and his attitude/way of talking down to people. And lest you forget,Keyes was all over the cable shows, just after President Bush took office, talking him down and complaining about the president. That does still stick in some people's craws.

Who will Conservatives/GOPers in and around Chicago vote for? Some will probably vote for Keyes and others will just not pull the lever for anyone.

During the 2000 recount, Keyes refused to criticize Gore on how he was trying to steal the election. I remember him specifically avoiding any questions on the subject, on the cable shows.

Seemed like a malcontent.
