Ill. and Chicago in particular,has a long and proud history of having prominent GOP blacks.Yes,their numbers have dwindled,however,everyone there knows this history.

Why wouldn't Keyes in over the socially Conservative blacks -- blacks who are pro-life? Catholic or Christian blacks? And why would Keyes turn off any white Conservatives? They certainly wouldn't vote for Obama --- a pro-abortion liberal.
