That's what it seems like is likely to happen --- if the people who aren't pro-abortion liberals, now they have someone to vote for. If it was going to be that other candidate why would they bother to vote?

Yes, Keyes will definitely boost the dispirited conservatives of Illinois. It's an extra 150,000 votes for Bush in Illinois---at a minimum. And I wouldn't be shocked to see Keyes pull 25% of the African-American vote. He's much more in tune with their positions on social issues.
