Look, I know you guys may not like Keyes or Keyes supporters that much, but please consider putting aside our differences for this one.
Think about it: Even if Keyes loses, he is sure to excite many Christian/Catholic voters and get them to the polls. This has repercussions for President Bush. I doubt Keyes will energize the enemy as much as Bush evangelicals and Catholics.
We need to hang together on this and hope that Keyes accepts.

but please consider putting aside our differences for this one. Where have I said one word about not liking Keyes? Granted, I'm not crazy about him, but this is not my state, so I have no pick on who they elect.
Once again, all I'm complaining about is 1) How nasty EV was to people who had honest points about Keyes and 2) the Keyes people trying to say Keyes going to Illinois is like Cheney going to Wyoming.

Have I knocked Keyes in this instance about running? You are correct I'm not a fan of his but if he's the candidate I've already stated he may help bring the right wing religious sect back to the fold with some vigor. If he does then good and it may help President Bush which is my objective. In this race you'll not hear me rip Keyes as long as he doesn't rip the President.....
