Seriously. President Bush won't win Illinois with or without Keyes. The problem is that for some Keyes will be a laughing stock...while on the other hand he may generate some life in the Republicans so that the electoral votes won't be given away free...but gone they are and the President should spend more time AND MONEY in Wisconsin, Ohio and Pennsylvania where he stands a good chance.
As you know I prefer a Democrat Senate and House anyway, but still want President Bush in the White House. Making a joint appearance with Keyes would be the kiss of death in Wisconsin...Illinois does not matter. To Bush/Cheney.
