overseas in Korea, and he says it is very depressing becuz his chain of command is predominatly lib/ democrats.the atmosphere is very anti Bush, pro Kerry. i try to tell him that the race is very close, and not to listen to the kerry-lovers that surround him that are making the 2004 election seem hopeless for Bush.

REALLY??? That's strange in a military environment.

I'm working as a contractor for the military mission in Iraq and over here, the sentiments are very heavily pro-Bush among the military and civilians alike.

Our votes HAVE to count.

Here is the email I am sending. (Feel free to copy and use ad nauseum.)

Dear Sir:

I am writing to you as a citizen living in your district in Missouri. It has come to my attention that there is a possibility that our military members may once again have their ballots disregarded this November due to ineptness on many fronts. (I refer to an article from the AP which can be found at this url: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1184726/posts?page=1) This, should it occur, is thoroughly unacceptable. To ignore the votes of the very people who are fighting to protect our country from the scourge of terrorism is morally incomprehensible. I am writing to ask you to do everything in your power to see that this does not happen.

Thank you,

Star
(address)
