Read the whole thing. And then write a letter to the editor of your local paper and ask them why they have failed to tell their readers - especially their minority readers - about this.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), and other Federal entities will combine their resources to help NUL local offices provide sustainable outreach and incubation of minority enterprise."In fairness, endowments are listed above this paragraph as supporting the NUL. However, how is this a good thing for Federal entities to provide anything to anyone? Instead of publicizing it, I suggest hoping it won't be publicized so we won't be shamed.

Excellent post. I'll wait to see if my local paper (the second largest in California) reports this.
My guess is, they won't.

Do Big Media stories have to meet affirmative action standards? Doesn't sound like it...

I'll write..GWB. I'm so sick and tired of the socialist giveaways I could scream! Do you realize how much we taxpayers have to fund for "special people?" What about the rest of us..barely making it on our wages. We could use a handout once in awhile. But it never comes. Mexicans, Blacks, Muslims are more special than we are.
I just paid 12% of my real estate taxes for "indigent healthcare." I can't even imagine what their foodstamps, housing assistance and kid's education are costing me. Yet here comes Bush with another socialist program so he can pick my pockets.
This sounds like another Democrat giveaway.
